Content Is The King That Kills Most Business Blogs

|

We all know that content is the king, but how much content is really needed to rank high for keywords in Google?

Believe it or not; it doesn't take huge amounts of content to rank high in Google. And content should not be the single most element that kills most business blogs.

Content isn't so much King as most of us are led to believe.

True, for the long haul pages and pages of high quality content, are exactly what Google requires to list your site on the front page of the SERPs. But consider the fact that tons of websites are listed in these locations and do not have tons of superior quality content.

You can write a long drawn out article with quality content and a simple post with only a title, and still get listed on the front page of the SERPs.

Content adds significant value to any website and rich high quality content will definitely compliment your efforts to rank high for the keyword phrases you are targeting, but so will other methods.

So how do they get there?

Can you ever remember doing a Google search for something really uncommon?

Perhaps a lawnmower part number, or a book title, or the exact name of a strange Windows Vista error message.

How frequently do you connect to pages of pure garbage that have absolutely no quality user generated content?

Do you ever land on completely worthless web pages?

This unfortunately happens all to often.

If you hit CTRL+F to find out what keyword caused the page to get the rank that it did; you will often find something stupid like an RSS feed, or some generated garbage that got it ranked there.

Although it aggravates me to no end, these generated pages make a lot of money and Google indexes them and ranks them highly!

You might consider this when writing your next article trying to improve your rank in Google.

It doesn't necessarily take a lot of content to get your top position in Google, but on the other hand, you shouldn't start publishing Title only posts either.

Content is King, and that’s never going to change. But, content shouldn’t be the element that kills most business blogs.

The point here is that you can attain a high rank with Google using minimal wording.

By choosing and using the correct keywords with a minimum amount of wording, you can achieve your goal without killing yourself.

Remember, it doesn't take 50 nails to hang one picture; one nail does the job nicely and professionally!

We all know that content is the king, just don't let it kill your business.
