How To Make Money Online: Be Systematic Generating Traffic Using CPC

|

The one single internet marketing skill that is BY FAR the most important, is generating traffic.

A lousy product that has tons of traffic, will almost always make more money than a good product with little or no traffic.

Websites that have mediocre or "average" sales copy and a TON of traffic, will almost always make more money than a fantastic website that contains perfect copy, with no reader audience.

The plain truth is that if you have a lot of traffic to your website, you can make money by accident!

The trick is to be systematic when generating traffic. Here's an example.

The search term "web hosting" is currently a HOT long tail keyword that is extremely difficult to rank for.

You could get traffic right away for this keyword phrase by actually bidding in Google AdWords on the term "web hosting", but it would cost you about $15.50 per click and the competition is brisk, to put it mildly.

Depending on your estimated return, there is a real potential for actually losing money bidding in Google AdWords for this particular keyword phrase.

There is a little traffic secret you can use that increases your odds of making money using Google AdWords, that is called geo specific keyword searching.

Going back to the web hosting example; there are 1,830,000 monthly local searches using the keyword "web hosting" and about 3,350,000 globally. That's a lot of competition!

By being systematic generating traffic using a geo specific keyword such as "Florida web hosting"; the monthly local searches drop to 5,400 and the monthly global searches drop to 6,600.

Although the cost per click in this particular example drops to only $12.96; the traffic that is generated, is targeted and very specific to the Florida area. These prospects are much more inclined to purchase than the people who are making the general "web hosting" search.

Generating traffic using geo specific keyword searches, generally provides more bang for the buck and a greater net profit than generating traffic using general keywords.

Usually the more geo specific the keyword; the less your competition and the cost per click.

Geo specific searches are not limited to just States, they are often more lucrative when focusing on cities, geographical areas, cities in other countries, and even streets in some instances.

You can make more money online by being systematic generating traffic using CPC.

Using Twitter To Promote Your Affiliate Products

|

Using Twitter to promote your affiliate products isn't a new idea; it has been successfully used by savvy Internet business marketers for quite some time.

If you are not already doing so, you should definitely try using Twitter to promote your affiliate products online.

Because Twitter has emerged as such a powerful social networking tool; many affiliates have been taking advantage of it to increase their earnings, as well as their visitor traffic.

As long as you're discreet and don't get yourself labeled as a "Twitter spammer", Twitter is probably the fastest way to get the "word" out and promote your affiliate products online.

Sign up for a free Twitter account at www.Twitter.com; then follow the easy instructional tutorials to begin creating your own little sphere of influence in your market niche or area of expertise and start growing your list of followers.

It's a good idea to be actively participating in the Twitter community before you blatantly begin promoting your niche affiliate products. People that start off this way seldom do well with long term marketing.

People in the community recognize when they are being targeted by an onslaught of advertising and will usually simply reject the product or treat the Tweeter as a spammer.

To become included as part of the community; begin by helping other people with their problems when you can and interact with others that are involved in your market niche as much as possible.

Interacting with people by offering them help when you can provide them with a solution to their problems, is a sure way to create an enduring friendship.

Introducing yourself to people in your market niche or niches and asking plenty of questions, is also a great way to create followers and make genuine friendships.

Follow people and they will usually follow you. Look for questions that you have solutions for and offer them to people in your market niche to build your following.

Then and only then, should you start posting your affiliate links.

Don't Tweet your affiliate link all over Twitter every day, or with every Tweet. That is the quickest way to get the "Twitter spammer" label pinned on your lapel.

Once you have it, it's hard to shed.

If you follow people and enter into the discussion; you can occasionally mention your affiliate link as a resource or as a solution to people's problems and generate legitimate interest in your product or service without getting the "Twitter spammer" moniker.

Remember.... Twitter is primarily all about relationships.

Internet Business Marketing Solutions: Recognizing Multi Level Marketing Scams

|

At one time multilevel marketing was for the most part a legitimate business.

It allowed small companies to promote their products to consumers in rural areas that had no ready access to these products.

Although the products generally sold themselves to the consumer; the multilevel aspect was a way to give those who worked hard to build the organization, a reward for their efforts. The focus was always on the product, not the multilevel reward aspect.

In today's marketing arena and with the skyrocketing growth of the Internet, consumers can get whatever they desire at competitive prices from anywhere in the world.

The necessity for distribution "systems" is no longer as important as it once was.

The focus of multilevel marketing scams is not on the products that they sell, but on the recruiting of new people to either buy into the program or purchase products that are grossly overpriced and available to the public at the same or at less cost.

Multilevel marketing scams aim at recruiting people who will recruit additional people, who will also buy into the program, or themselves buy the overpriced products.

Almost all multi level marketing programs are scams these days.

There is simply no need for multilevel marketing or the overpriced products that they promote in today's economy.

The only thing they sell are memberships that anticipate that other memberships will be sold in the future.

In short, multilevel marketing scams are the classic definition of a pyramid scheme, or securities fraud.

The fact that no multilevel marketing schemes sell significant amounts of product to anyone other that the people who originally bought into the programs, is positive proof that multilevel marketing is a dinosaur.

The only reason multilevel marketing schemes exist, is to defraud people into buying memberships that promise profits that are made by defrauding other people into the program.

The availability and costs of products purchased over the Internet are lower than ever before; and any multilevel marketing claims you hear that state it will take over the planet are totally bogus.
